Welcome to my blog! I have often thought about writing my personal thoughts down so I wouldn’t forget the wonderful advice I have for myself at 3am. So this blog is here mostly to remind myself of my journey, my advice and my lessons learned so that I might be better tomorrow than I am today. For you, the unlucky soul that stumbled onto this blog, I hope you are entertained and find some nugget of information that will make it worth your trip.
My plan is to share a short post at least once a month. I will be sharing thoughts from all aspects of my life which will include technology, business, family, faith and perhaps other random tidbits that make it’s way into my mind.
Who am I? I’m a 40-something year old male who grew up in Oklahoma in a conservative Christian family. I enjoyed technology at a young age (7th grade) which made my career choice obvious. I have been a software developer, database administrator, solutions architect and business owner for 22+ years. I met the woman of my dreams at university, fell emotionally and logistically in love with her and married Tara in August of 2000. I am still happily married, have 5 beautiful daughters, live in Bend Oregon and continue to develop my technology career.
